June 13 Chuck of the Week: The Watcher

It’s that time of the year again! Chucks have popped up from their 9-month hibernation in order to eat landscaping and compete for the coveted Spokesman “Chuck of the Week” crown.

Denyse Pettit of Redmond snapped this foto of a backyard marmot she describes as “The Watcher.” Is it protecting the Pettit back yard? Or just waiting for a produce delivery? We’ll let readers decide.
