Redmond environmental event offers free compost, workshops

Republic Services is hosting an environmental event Saturday in Redmond to help individuals learn about composting and gardening.

Redmond Earth Day — Compost, Plants and Brews will be held from noon to 2 p.m. at General Duffy’s Waterhole, 404 SW Forest Ave. The event will include a compost workshop, a compost and plant giveaway and kids activities.
