Central Christian to perform ‘Beauty and the Beast’

Central Christian School Community Theater is set to present its fourth musical and first full-length Broadway production.

The enchanted evening will CCS students ranging from sixth grade to high school seniors. The actors will perform a tale as old as time, Disney’s beloved classic “Beauty and the Beast.”

Central Christian School’s talented cast brings to life the story of Belle, a spirited young woman, and the Beast, a prince trapped in a spellbound castle.

Under the direction of Luke Valenti, the cast and crew have worked to recreate the magic of the Broadway stage.

Performances will take place on May 9-11 at Redmond High School, 675 SW Rimrock Way.

The musical runs 90 minutes and does include loud sounds and flashes of light.
