December 8, 1939 – January 15, 2025

Edward (Ed) Elliott, 85, of Crooked River Ranch, Oregon, passed away on January 15, 2025. He was born on December 8, 1939, in Redmond, Oregon to Fred and Kay (Percival) Elliott. He graduated from RUHS in 1958 and remained in Redmond working as a fire fighter/EMT for Redmond Fire department for 28 years and as a Redmond police officer prior to that. Ed was also a member of the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Posse from 1975 to 2000 and was honored as a life time honorary member. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He had a great love for hunting and many memories were made with friends and family during these hunting trips. Ed married the love of his life, Gloria, who proceeded him in death in October of 2024. He is survived by his children: Debbie (Sam) Zullo; Sam (Stacie) Elliott; step-son Jim (Shelley) Gannatal; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at Powell Butte Community Center, 8404 SW Reif Rd, Powell Butte, Oregon, on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 12:00pm.
