Every Child Central Oregon, the Redmond-based nonprofit that supports the wellbeing of Central Oregon children and families impacted by foster care, received a $150,000 grant from The Ford Family Foundation.
According to the organization, the funds “will propel ECCO forward in its mission of mobilizing community to uplift children and families impacted by foster care in Central Oregon.”
The grant, spanning a period of three years, will fuel the expansion of the organization’s capacity and growth. ECCO will be able to hire staff members to enhance and expand programs and services.
“We are incredibly grateful to The Ford Family Foundation for their belief in our vision and their generous support,” says Melissa Williams, ECCO’s executive director. “This grant will not only allow us to grow our organization but will also enable us to innovate and adapt to better serve the unique needs of children and families in our community.”
