The Redmond Oregon Senior Center is celebrating its 75th anniversary, and the organization has an exciting lineup of events planned to mark the milestone.

Celebration will begin Sept. 14 with an “Open House Extravaganza” at the Redmond Senior Center, 325 NW Dogwood Avenue. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and feature live music by The Notables. Enjoy beverages and appetizers as you explore the center, participate in a silent auction, and mingle with fellow community members.

On Sept. 15, the celebration will continue at the Blacksmith Public House, 308 SW Evergreen. From 2-6 p.m., the event will feature live music by the Sleepless Truckers. Attendees will also have the chance to participate in a raffle with fantastic prizes up for grabs. Tickets are $25 for general admission or $100 for VIP, offering an exclusive experience with premium seating and additional perks.

All proceeds from these events go directly to the Senior Center’s operations budget, ensuring the organization can continue to provide services to our senior community, such as the Meals on Wheels program that serves more than 130 seniors a day.
