Unofficial Redmond election results

These are unofficial Deschutes County election results from the latest batch of ballots release about 11:56 p.m. on May 16. In Deschutes County, 46,665 registered voters returned a ballot — roughly 29.7 percent.   

Redmond School Board

Currently, incumbents Liz Goodrich and Keri Lopez look to have held their seats on the school board while Amanda Page is narrowly edging out Wendell Otto. Eric Lea ran unopposed and will win a seat on the board.

Position 1

Eric Lea, who ran unopposed, won 95.5 percent of the vote. Roughly 4.5 percent went to a range of write-in candidates.

Position 3

Amanda Page is leading Wendell Otto by less than 400 votes, or 52.8 percent to 47.8 percent.

Position 4

Keri Lopez is leading Brad Porterfield by more than 1,000 votes, or a margin of 57.2 percent to 42.7 percent.

Position 5

Liz Goodrich is leading John Campbell by more than 1,500 votes, or a margin of 58.3 percent to 41.6 percent.

Redmond Area Parks and Recreation District

Position 4

David Rouse is leading a three-way race for RAPRD Position 4, likely knocking off incumbent Zach Harmon and challenger BJ Soper.

Rouse was leading with 3,401 votes, followed by Soper with 2,423 and Harmon with 1,936.

Position 5

Lena Berry looks ready to win a seat on the RAPRD board.

Initial results showed her leading her race against Louie Arzaga with 4,482 votes to Arzaga’s 3,129.

Deschutes County Library District

Seat 1

Cynthia Claridge is leading Tony Oliver in the race for the library district seat that represents Redmond.

As of 10:11 p.m., Claridge had 3,517 votes to Oliver’s 2,752.
