Reed Pozzi, Ridgeview boys swimming — Pozzi won the 200-yard individual medley by more than nine seconds and finished second in the 100 breaststroke at the Henley Freeze in Klamath Falls on Jan. 9.

Female athlete of the week

Tristy Osbon, Ridgeview girls swimming — Osbon won the 100-yard backstroke by more than 11 seconds and took second in the 50 freestyle at the Henley Freeze in Klamath Falls on Jan. 9.

Event of the week

Wrestling, Redmond at Brunner Invitational in Dallas, Oregon, Jan. 9 — Five Redmond wrestlers took first place in their weight class, and the Panthers beat out eight other teams to win the Brunner Invitational with 342.5 points.
