Redmond single-family home prices jump slightly in December

The median sales price of a single-family home in December jumped by $7,000 from month prior in Redmond to $498,000, according to the monthly report from Beacon Appraisal Group of Redmond.

The median sales price for homes in Redmond has hovered at the $500,000 mark for much of last year, according to the report.

Single-family homes in Redmond took an average of 57 days to sell in December, nearly double what it took in November. During the heyday of the pandemic, homes in Redmond took less than 10 days to sell. There remained a two-month supply of homes for sale in December in Redmond, according to the report.

In Sisters, the median sales price of a single-family home in December was $712,000, up a tad from November when the median sales price was $700,000. The number of homes for sale dropped to a two-month supply in December, compared to a four-month supply the month prior.

In Sunriver, the median sales price of a single-family home was $1.1 million in December, according to the report. That’s a decline of about $500,000 from November when the median sales price was $1.6 million, according to the report. About a three-month supply of homes remained on the market in December, according to the report.

In La Pine, the median sales price of a single-family home was $360,000 in December, up from November when it was $338,000. The number of homes available for sale shrunk in December from eight months to five months, according to the report.
