Lenora J. Stewart, 81, of Sherwood, OR passed from earth to her eternal home in heaven October 4, 2023 on her 65th wedding anniversary. She was born in Porterville, CA on February 4, 1942. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvan Stewart, who passed the week of their wedding anniversary in 2019.

She was a devoted mother of Gordon Stewart of Kirkland, WA and Donna Stewart of Portland, OR.

Lenora and Sylvan were longtime residents of Canby, OR until they retired to Redmond, OR (Crooked River Ranch) to establish a base camp for travel of untold thousands of miles around the US pulling a fifth wheel travel trailer.

Lenora moved to The Ackerly, a wonderful assisted living facility in Sherwood, OR. There she made many new friends for what turned out to be the final year and a half of her life.

Lenora served her family as a stay at home mom and later served her community by delivering meals on wheels with Loaves and Fishes. She enjoyed walking, painting, old movies and a good conversation. She nearly always ran into a friend when she went out in public and always enjoyed impromptu conversations when she did. And if she didn’t, she had a way of making new friends.
