Annual drive provides winter necessities in Redmond

As winter approaches, Windermere Real Estate brokers are teaming up to Share the Warmth by providing essential winter items for those in need.

As part of the annual campaign, the Windermere office in Redmond will be collecting donations through Dec. 20 to benefit Jericho Road and the Family Access Network.

This year, the organizations are asking for new or gently used coats, hats, gloves, and scarves (sizes toddler to adult), as well as sleeping bags, tents and blankets. Community members can also drop off monetary donations and donations of gift cards for the purchase of warm winter items.

Those who wish to contribute can stop by participating Windermere offices to drop off donations. The Windermere office in Redmond, located at 821 SW 6th St., is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Here is a full list of all drop-off locations.

“We’re proud to see how our brokers and community members come together each year to support those in need during the winter season,” said Christine Wood, executive director of the Windermere Foundation.
