Single family home prices hold steady in Redmond

The median marketing time for selling a single family home in Bend and Redmond has grown to about 40 days in January, a big jump from the heyday of four days two years ago, according to a monthly report.

In Redmond, the median sales price for a single family home was $507,000 in January, $3,000 less than it was in December, according to the report. It is notable that there were more sales in January than December, but still far fewer than the high set in July 2021 when 117 homes sold in a month, according to the report.

It took homes in Redmond about 41 days to sell, up from December when it took a home 33 days to sell, according to the report.

The monthly Beacon Report uses the median sales price to measure the midpoint value of all transactions in a month.

In Sisters, the median sales price of a single family home was $686,000 in January, down significantly from December’s sales median sales price of $755,000, according to the report. Single family homes in Sisters took about 55 days to sell in January, nearly double what it was the month before, according to the report.
