Bend Dermatology Clinic opened a new facility in Redmond at 440 NW Maple Ave.

Bend Dermatology Clinic has opened a new facility at 440 NW Maple Ave in Redmond and began accepting patients on Feb. 19.

The practice will move from its interim location at 111 NW Larch Ave. The new 5,134-square foot facility more than doubles care capacity with two additional exam rooms and three micrographic surgery rooms.

According to the clinic, the new space will allow providers to meet the increasing need for dermatological care in Central Oregon.

Staff at the clinic include six providers, including a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Moh Micrographic Surgeon, three additional board-certified dermatologists, and two advanced practitioners will treat patients of all ages for medical dermatology conditions of the hair, skin and nails, as well as cosmetic injections.

“The opening of our new facility is perfect timing as more members of our community plan to get outside and pay more attention to skin health as we approach the warmer months,” said Dr. William Delgado, Bend Dermatology Clinic’s medical director, in a release. “Oregon is in the top third of states for melanoma diagnoses each year and expanding our space allows us to offer a full spectrum of best-in-class dermatological care to even more residents in Central Oregon.”

Delgado noted that the clinic has been a “trusted medical partner” in the community for 45 years.

The new building is at the intersection of NW Maple and NW 4th streets, a short distance from its interim location on NW Larch Avenue.

Patients can access the building from the Maple Avenue entrance south of Walmart.
