The city of Redmond is set to begin construction of the next phase of improvements on Reservoir Drive, from SW 43rd to SW 39th Street.
A full closure of the roadway required to accommodate construction. That closure will begin April 28. The second phase of the construction project includes the replacement and installation of underground utilities within the roadway. Work is slated to be finished by fall 2025.
This project is part of the city’s Capital Improvement Program, and will span from SW 39th St. to SW Helmholtz Way. This project includes installation of new pavement, curbs, sidewalks, bike lanes, waterlines, storm collection systems, and sewer lines. These improvements are designed to bring this older street section up to current city standards, ensuring safer and more efficient travel for all users.
The first phase of the project was completed in February. That work zone stretched from SW Helmholtz Way to SW 43rd Street.
