Only 14 tickets are still available for the 19th Annual Redmond Kiwanis Vintner’s Dinner and Auction. The event will be staged on Friday, May 9, at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 1720 NW 19th Street. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.

Maryhill Winery from Goldendale, Wash., will be the presenting winery for the five-course, wine-paired meal catered by Core Catering of Bend. Diners will have a choice of three entrees, chateaubriand, crab-stuffed sole or vegetarian.

Tickets are $125 each, or $1,250 for corporate tables of eight. Other sponsorships start at $500 and include two tickets. The event sold out in mid-April last year, so Kiwanis recommends prompt purchases.

For online ticket sales and more complete information, log on to the Redmond Kiwanis website. Diners should be prepared to make their entrée choice as they purchase tickets.

The dinner is the largest fundraiser for the service club’s youth projects.

The major beneficiary of the event again will be the natural park at the Redmond Area Park and Recreation District’s pool and recreation center under construction in southwest Redmond.
