A fire damaged a home and some outbuildings Sunday morning in southwest Redmond.
According to Redmond Fire & Rescue, crews were dispatched about 3:30 a.m. April 6 to 2033 SW 30th St.
Crews arrived on scene to find a single family home, two sheds and a wood fence were heavily involved in fire. Crews made sure the home’s residents were evacuated and kept the fire from spreading to nearby homes.
No one was injured, but the fire did heavy damage to the home. An estimate on the dollar loss was not available Sunday morning.
The cause of the fire was determined to be escaped embers from a recreation fire, according to Redmond Fire & Rescue investigators.
