Hayden Homes announced Tuesday that the Redmond-based development company hired Keith Thomajan as its senior vice president and chief of staff. He started his new role immediately.
Thomajan has experience in strategic planning, operations, community impact and people development. He has held senior leadership roles in both the public and private sectors, most recently with Dutch Bros., where he served as chief social impact officer and chief of staff.
During his tenure with Dutch Bros, Thomajan helped lead the coffee purveyor’s growth into 15 states and from $300 million to $1 billion in revenue. He also developed and implemented a strategic plan focused on operational efficiency, systems and brand strategy. In his social impact role, Thomajan built Dutch Bros program teams in philanthropy, sustainability, DEI, and government and community affairs.
“We are excited to welcome a colleague of Keith’s exceptional caliber to our leadership team,” said president of Hayden Homes Steve Klingman, in a release. “His innovative vision and dynamic energy, particularly in his commitment to building a strong community while driving sustainable business growth, perfectly align with Hayden Homes. We are excited about the impact he will make as part of our team.”
Prior to Dutch Bros, Thomajan was the CEO of the United Way of the Columbia-Willamette and Camp Fire Columbia, where he spearheaded key organizational and community initiatives.
In his new role, Thomajan will work with other members of Hayden Homes’ executive team to oversee key strategic initiatives. In his first few weeks, Thomajan will meet with team members across the company and spend time in each of Hayden Homes market regions, including Central Oregon, the I-5 Corridor, southwest Washington, inland Washington, southern Idaho and Montana.
“I am truly honored and grateful to join the Hayden Homes family,” said Thomajan. “This opportunity allows me to combine my deep passion for community impact and strategic planning with the remarkable work that Hayden Homes is doing to provide hardworking families with homeownership opportunities. It’s a perfect match, and I am excited to take on this new challenge and contribute to the incredible work that lies ahead.”
Established in Redmond in 1989, Hayden Homes has built more than 27,000 new homes in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana.
