Letter: Find hope in hard times
Published 6:00 am Thursday, January 30, 2025
The path I chose is a rough and lonely one. I learned many lessons and I continue to learn.
I believe when we choose a path and you don’t learn you continue bumping your head until you learn that lesson. Because learning that lesson makes you stronger for the lessons to come.
And when you feel you can’t go on, remember there is hope or there wouldn’t be you.
Remember what you do directly affects those around you: your family, friends, community. So when you make a decision to go down a path, not only think about how it will affect you but everyone else as well.
Will what I do hurt everyone? Or will what I do inspire people to do good? I sometimes ask Jesus if I am doing good, if I am on the right path. He might not answer or show me a sign right away. But he always shows me, eventually.
It was nice to sleep in a nice, warm bed and eat warm meals and have some good conversations. Some people don’t hear because they talk too much. Watch, listen, learn, inspire.
