The Rotary Club of Redmond is once again sponsoring their annual Daddy Daughter Dance. The 2025 version is set for Saturday, March 1 at Ridgeview High School.
This year’s theme is “Sock Hop”. A sock hop is the term for a dance party where participants dance in their socks. The term originated when dancers were required to remove their shoes to protect gym floors from scuff marks. Sock hops were especially popular with American teenagers in the 1950s.
This is the Rotary Club’s 11th Annual Daddy Daughter Dance fundraiser. Girls from kindergarten through eight grades and their father, (or male relative or guardian) are invited to experience a night of music, games, dancing, photography, carriage rides, food and desserts. Tickets are $55 for a group of two, with $25 extra for additional daughters.
Purchase tickets online at redmondoregonrotary.com. No tickets will be sold at the door.
