Redmond Police responded to the 1000 block of NW Elm Ave. on Thursday night and found two people seriously injured in what police say was a “major incident.”

According to Redmond Police, officers were dispatched about 10:34 p.m. after 911 said people had been hurt. Emergency crews found two victims who were transported by ambulance to St. Charles Medical Center in Redmond. No other information was released. Police were on the scene throughout the night and remain on the scene Friday.

Police said only that it was an “isolated incident” and “there is no known threat to the community at this time.”

The region-wide Central Oregon major incident team was activated Friday to investigate.

Police are asking neighbors in the area to review video surveillance for any vehicles or suspicious activity from 8-11:00 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 23. If you have surveillance video during that time period that has information regarding the incident, call Redmond Police at 541-693-6911.
