Redmond parks district seeks commitee volunteers

The Redmond Area Park and Recreation District seeks volunteers to join its budget and bond oversight committees.

The budget committee reviews and approves RAPRD’s proposed budget each year. There are two open positions, each with a three-year term ending on June 30, 2027. This committee generally meets two to four times in April and May.
The purpose of the RAPRD bond oversight committee is to oversee the expenditures and use of the 2022 general obligation bond proceeds, ensuring that they are applied to the projects specified in the bond measure. There is a one-year position available that ends Dec. 31 and three two-year positions available that end Dec. 31, 2026. This committee meets every two months.
Qualified applicants must reside within RAPRD boundaries.
