Robert “Bob” Tovey

Robert “Bob” Tovey passed away peacefully on October 20, 2024 in his home, shortly after his 83rd birthday. Husband to Kathy for 56 years and proud father to Nikos and Robin, he was born in Townsend, MT, to Velma and Michael Tovey and graduated from Mt. Vernon High School. He earned degrees at Portland State University and St. Louis University and was the director of Cascade Child Center for 29 years. Bob enjoyed involvement in his community and served on boards for the Redmond Library, Mid Oregon Credit Union, and COTP/CCD. Private interment services will be held at St Peter’s Catholic Church in The Dalles. In lieu of flowers, please support your favorite local human-services organization.
