Cindy LeFebvre

October 28, 1952 – September 18, 2024

Cindy, a cherished mother, grandmother and friend left us too soon on September 18, 2024. Cindy will always be remembered for her kindness, her servant heart, and the love, joy and fellowship she shared through cooking and baking for those she loved.

Cindy Mae LeFebvre, 71, was born October 28, 1952 in Portland, Oregon to the late Ray and Maebelle Livingston of Columbia City, Oregon. Cindy grew up in Columbia City where she attended St. Helens High School. It was there that she met the love of her life, Gary LeFebvre, at the age of 14. The two became high school sweethearts, graduating in 1970. Their love story lives on today, after 52 years of marriage.

Cindy and Gary originally lived in St. Helen’s, Oregon and moved to Scappoose after their daughters (Carmen and Staci) were in elementary school. Cindy worked for the St. Helen’s Federal Credit Union. The family then moved to Mukilteo, Washington where Cindy worked for the school district, and later returned to Beaverton, Oregon where they lived for nearly 30 years. Cindy retired as a supervisor for Proctor & Gamble in 2016.

In 2017, Gary and Cindy moved to Eagle Crest in Redmond, Oregon, to enjoy their retirement. They enjoyed entertaining friends and family who came to visit, travelling, and spending time with their precious grandchildren, the lights of Cindy’s life. Gary and Cindy are active members of Redmond Community Church where Cindy volunteered in the nursery and helped distribute food to those in need at the Cedar Street Food Pantry.

Cindy is survived by her loving husband, Gary LeFebvre, their two daughters Carmen (husband Joe) and Staci (husband Steve), and brother Mike Livingston. She will forever be cherished and remembered by her four grandchildren Colby, Cassidy, Cohen, and Rocco who fondly remember so many fun times with their Grandma baking cookies, jumping waves in the ocean, cheering at their sporting events, and countless hours of love and laughter. Cindy loved her family with every ounce of her being and her departure leaves an unfillable void in their lives and hearts.

Cindy found peace and comfort through her faith. To honor Cindy’s memory, the family respectfully asks that you make a donation to Redmond Community Church (237 NW 9th Street, Redmond, OR 97756), in lieu of flowers.
