Herbert George Mills

Herb was born to Floyd and Louise Mills on March 1, 1939 in Prairie City, Oregon.  He was the oldest of 7 children and at the age of 11, his family moved to Redmond, Oregon.

He was drafted into the Army and stationed in Southern California where he met his future wife, Lorna, and married in 1963.  He returned to Redmond, working at Eberhard’s Dairy until obtaining his own Dairy Farm Northeast of Redmond.

After retirement he spent most of his time enjoying his 11 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren.

He is survived by his 4 children, Lisa, Joe, John, and Linda, two sisters, Ruthie and Patty, and brother Ken. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Ruby and Rosemary and brother, Bill.

A celebration of life will be held October 19, 2024, at Redmond Christian Church, 536 SW 10th St, Redmond, Oregon at 1:00 PM.
