Redmond’s housing prices drop a touch in September

The median sales price of a Redmond single family home dropped a tad in September, according to a monthly housing report.

Home prices have dropped below $500,000 during the past two months, according to the monthly report. The last time homes sold below the half million mark was in November 2023 and the median sales price was $499,000 in Redmond, according to a report.

September’s median sale price of a single family home in Redmond was $493,000.

Homes are on the market for an average of 46 days in Redmond, up considerably since 2022 when homes were averaging about six days on the market, according to the data in the report. Like Bend, Redmond has about three and a half months of home inventory, according to the report.

In Sisters the median sales price of a single family home was $772,000 in September, according to the report. That’s up considerably over August when the median sales price was $625,000. There is a five-month supply of homes on the market in Sisters.
