Council, mayor forum on Friday at senior center

A forum that will include all candidates for Redmond city council and mayor is set for 1-3 p.m. Friday at the Redmond Senior Center.

The “Redmond Community Candidate Forum” is sponsored by the Redmond Executive Association and the Redmond Rotary and Kiwanis groups. Spokesman editor Tim Trainor will moderate the event.

The event will begin with an hour-long forum including all five candidates for Redmond city council. Incumbents Tobias Colvin, Clifford Evelyn and Shannon Wedding will take part, as will challengers Alan Lawyer and Jay Patrick. Following a short break, a mayoral forum will begin about 2 p.m. between incumbent Ed Fitch and challengers Cat Zwicker and Charles Baer.
