Air travel has returned to pre-pandemic levels, but demand has shifted.

Redmond Municipal Airport is offering TSA PreCheck enrollment for those seeking faster security checks and a smoother airport experience, making “travel easier and more convenient for our passengers,” RDM stated in their news release.

To enroll in TSA PreCheck, an application can be completed online. New enrollment costs $78 for five years and to renew enrollment for another five years costs $70 in person or $78 online.

Once completing the enrollment online, the next step is to select a time and appointment at the RDM to complete registration. Currently there are times available from July 29 to Aug. 2.

Available appointment times can be found online after entering additional information.

A valid form of photo identification is needed at an in-person appointment. Identification types can include a driver’s license, passport, military ID card or an enhanced tribal card. This form of documentation must match the first and last name on your birth certificate. A birth certificate or immigration document is required as well for identifying citizenship status. This can also be an enhanced driver’s license or passport.

There are additional enrollment dates at RDM from Sept. 30 through Oct. 4 and Nov. 18 through Nov. 22. Registration for these dates will open closer to the event.
