Did all of you see the beautiful flowers bloom? I have.

I want to write about my mother and wish her — and all mothers — a happy Mother’s Day.

Moms are number one. All day they work as everything — a nurse, doctor, teacher, manager of a bank, grocery store, clothes shop and more. Our moms are everything to us.

They worship us. They teach us the difference between bad and good. Moms go to all of our games, school functions, and are with you when you are sick or unhappy because of something happening at school and friends who hurt your feelings.

During sleepovers, moms do all the work. In my day they were called a slumber party.

There’s just so much that moms do for all of us.

Remember, I used to be a child and am whatever I am now (ha, ha). This is her day. Tell her you are so proud of her. No texting! Use your mouth. Be good to her. Hug her. We all need it.

So remember: Mom is one who can take the place of many others, but whose place no one else can take. That’s a famous line.

Happy Mother’s Day — we are all so proud of what you do for all of us. Health, happiness, love and mom.
