Wayne”Bruce” Wattenburger

November 21, 1951 – October 24, 2023

Bruce Wattenburger was the Juniper Golf Professional for 34 years. He retired in 2017. Bruce was inducted into the PGA Hall of Fame for serving his fellow golf professionals. He served as the Oregon and Pacific NW Chapter President, served on the PGA of America board for 3 years. Bruce was honored with the Golf Professional of the Year award and the Horton Smith Award. At Juniper Golf course, Bruce managed the expansion from 9 to 18 holes in 2006. Bruce passed away from Cancer and is survived by his wife Shan and kids Allyson Clark and Kyle Wattenburger. Granddaughters: Teagan, Zoey and Kammi. His Memorial: May 7, 2024, 4pm @ Juniper Golf Club, Redmond, Oregon. Donations: Juniper Junior Golf Program.
