- The Cascade Equinox Festival took place at the Deschutes County Fair & Expo Center in Redmond from Sept. 22 to Sept. 24.
The Cascade Equinox festival, which made its debut in Redmond in 2023, will return late this summer for its second incarnation of electronic music, art and dancing.
Organizers on April 18 announced their headliners for the 2024 edition, set to return to the Deschutes County Fair & Expo Center from Sept. 20-22. Those top acts include the French music producer CloZee, the British dance music project Jungle, and groups like Liquid Stranger, Marc Rebillet and STS9.
The 2024 festival will also offer a vendor marketplace, workshops, kid zones, a roller rink, carnival rides, food, yoga, beer and wine tastings, interactive art installations and live art. It will also have wellness experiences such as the Oasis Bath House that includes showers, as well as options for a sauna and cold plunge.
According to festival organizers, there will be various on-site camping options, including nearby glamping opportunities. One nearby campground area will be fenced off with security guards and located on grass. There will also be opportunities for RV hookups, as well as areas for dry RVs, car camping, walk-in camping, and basic camping packages. The 2023 version garnered some complaints for long lines of traffic and late, loud music.
A three-day pass general admission pass for the festival is $340, and VIP access is more expensive. The cost of camping packages run from an additional $159 for standard car camping to $1,799 for a yurt with a bed.
Early Bird GA passes for Cascade Equinox have already sold out. Other ticket packages are available at cascadeequinox.com/tickets.
Additional acts are expected to be announced soon. In addition to headlining acts, dozens of others bands and DJs have been tabbed for the show. The inaugural 2023 version featured more than 50 acts, including Pretty Lights, Big Wild, Goose, Phantogram, Trevor Hall & The Great In Between, Of The Trees and more.
