BasX hiring fair set for Saturday in Redmond

- Construction is nearly complete on the 75,000-square-foot manufacturing floor expansion of BasX in Redmond.
BasX, already one of Redmond’s largest employers, is hosting a hiring fair on Saturday with the goal of hiring 150 workers in Redmond by June.

The company, a high-tech HVAC and cleanroom manufacturer, continues to experience rapid post-COVID growth. Since the beginning of 2022, BasX has more than doubled in size from 266 employees to 665 employees. The company was purchased by Aaon the year prior.
BasX is currently building a new 36,000-square-foot weld shop in Redmond and hopes to hire both entry-level and experienced professionals to staff the new facility when it opens in June. Jobs in demand include welder, electrical assembler, quality control testing technician, general production and more.
The hiring fair is set for Saturday, March 30 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Deschutes County Fair & Expo Center’s North Sister building. On-site interviews may be conducted, according to the company. There will be a BASX HVAC unit and other visuals related to manufacturing jobs available for job seekers to see and experience.
