The Ridgeview High School Performing Arts Department will produce its final performances of Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins this weekend
The Ridgeview High School production features Chanel Yeaman as Mary Poppins, senior Archer Van Loh as George Banks, and Calan Von Seggern as Bert, with Madalynn Ludington Smith as Winifred, Abrielle Capson as Jane and Joshua Capson as Michael Banks.
Directed by Jerry Capson with Lauren Peterson assistant director, Belinda Sisson vocal director and Kelly Moore band director. Choreography is by Michelle Mejaski with piano accompaniment by Karen Baldwin Kuntz.
The well-loved songs “A Spoonful of Sugar,” “Jolly Holiday,” “Step In Time,” and the song you all remember “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” will have adults and children singing at home for weeks after the final curtain.
It’s a show about an upside down family of good people that gets back on track with the help of Mary Poppins. With a cast of 31 high school, middle school, and grade school students from across Redmond School District, the stage comes alive with story, music, and dance.
Final weekend performances are Feb. 22-24 at 7 p.m. with a matinees at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 24. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, $7 for middle and high school students and $5 for children. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at ridgeviewhs.seatyourself.biz.
