- Windermere Real Estate donated winter clothing gathered during its "Share the Warmth" coat and blanket drive.
Windermere Real Estate put winter clothing donated to their Redmond office to good use following its annual “Share the Warmth” coat and blanket drive, the company said in a release Tuesday.
The company’s owners and staff supported Family Access Network and Jericho Road, two local Redmond organizations, with the drive. The two organizations received a combined more than $3,200 in cash and gift card donations, as well as 288 coats, 37 blankets and more than 150 other warm items, the release said.
The two organizations will use the funds raised to purchase winter items to help those who need it get through the winter weather.
“We want to thank our community members, local businesses, and industry partners who came together with us during this year’s donation drive,” said Windermere principal broker Megan Curtis, who coordinated the drive for the company’s Redmond office.
