Redmond median home sales prices hold steady

For the past four months, the median price of a single family home in Redmond has hovered around $500,000, indicating a market that is stabilizing, according to a monthly housing report.

In Bend, however, the story is a bit different. The median sales price dipped slightly to $730,000 in November and the number of sales dropped to 121, compared to 144 in October, according to the Beacon Report, which is produced by the Beacon Appraisal Group in Redmond.

Since July, the median single family home sales price in Bend has gone from a high of $800,000 to a low of $730,000 in November. It’s now taking about 31 days for a home to sell in Bend.

In Redmond there were 36 home sales in November compared to 74 in June, according to the report. There is about a three-month supply of homes available for sale in Redmond, a trend that has continued since August.

In Sisters the median sales price of a single family home was $740,000, up significantly over October when the median sales price was $670,000.

In Sunriver, the median single family sales price in November was $1.01 million, compared to October when it was $1.04 million.

And in La Pine, the median sales price of a single family home was down slightly to $421,000 in November, compared to $428,000 in October, according to the report.
