GMC Cascaders to celebrate anniversary with stop in Crooked River Ranch

- GMC Cascaders will stop at Crooked River Ranch for their 2023 anniversary rally.
If you’re out on the road this September, be on the lookout for an eye-catching caravan of vintage GMC motorhomes as the GMC Cascaders celebrate their club’s 40th Anniversary with a two-week rolling rally Sept. 8–25 through Washington, British Columbia and Oregon.

It includes a stop Sept. 18-19 at the Crooked River Ranch RV Resort, 14875 Hays Road.
This rally coincides with the 50th year of the GMC motorhome, with models released between 1973 and 1978. Cascaders who participate in the rally are expected to travel 1,250 miles over a two-week period, cruising on smaller highways when possible.
Beginning in Ferndale, Wash., the caravan will head north over the Canadian border, then loop down back into central Washington, continue south into Oregon and then north again, finishing up in the Salish-seaside town of La Conner, Wash.

GMC Cascaders’ wagon master Debbie Harper said nearly 30 coaches have signed on so far, with nine coaches traveling along for at least 10 of the 13 total overnight stops. Scheduled camping locations in Moses Lake and Maryhill, Wash. are expected to host more than 20 coaches.
GMC Cascaders currently have 102 memberships representing 190 people and 88 GMC motorhomes. Most members reside in Washington, Oregon and British Columbia; club members strive to travel safe, have fun and keep these marvelous machines rolling.
