Two arrested, accused of trafficking meth from Redmond hotel room

A Redmond man and Florida woman were arrested in a Redmond motel room, accused of trafficking commercial amounts of methamphetamine.

According to the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office, street crimes detectives on July 31 began investigating the sale of methamphetamine out of the City Center Motel in

Redmond.

Detectives claim that Aundria Bass, 41, of Florida, “was trafficking commercial quantities of methamphetamine from her motel room” and began to surveil the property.

Detectives developed probable cause to search Bass’ vehicle and motel room. Investigators found multiple people inside the room, as well as commercial quantities of methamphetamine, evidence of narcotics sales, a substantial quantity of crack cocaine and a small amount of fentanyl pills.

While executing the warrant, investigators found John R. Johnson, 35, of Redmond, who was arrested on an outstanding Deschutes County warrant.

Detectives claimed Bass was manufacturing and ingesting crack cocaine inside her motel room as narcotics detectives made entry.

She was arrested for possession, delivery and manufacturin phetamine as well as possession and manufacturing of cocaine. Bass also had an out-of-state warrant from Orange County, Florida.
