The Redmond Chamber of Commerce is organizing a peer discussion group of Redmond Chamber entrepreneurs modeled after the Opportunity Knocks model which began in Bend some years ago.
The group will consist of ten Redmond entrepreneurs who will meet for two hours monthly, on the second Wednesday of every month except December and August, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at a location to be determined in Redmond. The group will begin Sept. 13.
The group will present and share their challenges and opportunities in a safe place where confidentiality will be maintained. They will have the opportunity to assist each other to achieve entrepreneurial success.
Gary Einhorn, The Entrepreneurial Ear, will facilitate the group with Amanda Joe Luelling as co-facilitator. Sharon Calhoun, regional branch manager of the new Redmond OCCU bank, is responsible for providing financial assistance to all ten group members.
Einhorn had been a member of Opportunity Knocks in Medford for eight years and subsequently co-facilitated his own version for 10 years in Ashland. He is presently in private practice as a business consultant and member of the Redmond Chamber. Luelling is the events director for the Redmond Chamber and an entrepreneur in private practice.
