In less than a week, five senior ball players from Ridgeview, Bend High, Summit and Mountain View will play against the state’s best in the Richardson Oregon All-Star Series.

The all-star series’ rosters which highlight the top Class 6A and 5A senior baseball players were released and five Central Oregon baseball players were selected.

All five of the Central Oregon players will play for the South Team, made up of players from outside of the Portland area.

A trio of pitchers all made the squad: Bend’s Kaden Isola and Logan Malinowski, as well as Mountain View’s Simon Lemke. All three could be hurling their pitches to Summit catcher Zach Justice, one of three University of Oregon baseball commits on the South roster. Ridgeview’s Jace Nagler landed on the roster as an infielder.

The two-game series will be played on June 24 and 25 at Goss Stadium on the Oregon State University campus in Corvallis.
