When Bend built a new library, the old one was not torn down. When Sisters built a new library, the old one was not torn down. Yet the library board, with the support of the incumbent, allowed Redmond’s library to be torn down.

The Redmond community has worked hard to maintain the historic structures by repurposing them, not tearing them down. Yet the board disregarded Redmond and is building a modern building in the midst of a historic neighborhood.

We need someone who will represent Redmond and support what we want. That is why I am voting for Tony Oliver for the library board.
