I have read the column written by Mayor Ed Fitch that is in the Redmond Spokesman this week several times. In that opinion column he states that there were two other candidates in opposition to any dispensaries in Redmond. He implies that the voters chose to have dispensaries.

But, honestly there were 5,026 votes for Mayor Fitch and the dispensaries and 9,506 votes against dispensaries and him. So I feel it is important to mention that if the mayor is acting based on what the people of Redmond voted for, he should not be for dispensaries.

Just thought I would mention that the view as stated in the Spokesman is not that Redmond voters supported Mayor Fitch. In fact they voted overwhelmingly against him.

Listening to the people without a spin on it is important in my view. Just my two cents.
