Name of truck: Bluma’s
Name of owner: Cliff Abrahams
Location: Next to
Kobold Brewing’s The Vault, 245 SW 6th St
Hours: Open Thursday thru Saturday 12-9 p.m., Sunday 12-6 p.m., Monday 12-8 p.m.
Date Opened: The food truck originally opened in 2019 at River’s Place in Bend and debuted in its current location on Dec. 2.
About Cart: Bluma’s takes classic bar food to the next level. They boast a variety that ranges from bacon-wrapped figs to a salmon club to Texas-style green chile queso and corn chips. After an unsatisfactory run in Bend, Bluma’s crew decided to move to Redmond, where they said they received a warmer welcome.
Your first order should be: The chicken and waffles, which comes with fried boneless chicken breast fingers and Belgian waffles with a side of maple syrup and hot honey. If hand food isn’t your style, Charles, the cook, recommends the fried chicken sandwich. That’s his personal favorite.
Fun fact: This truck was the first truck of three owned and operated by the owner’s restauranteur company, 8 Hands Hospitality. It is named after Abrahams’ great-grandmother, Bluma.
