About the cart: Nonna’s Italian options range from ravioli to a chicken pesto sandwich. They make their food from scratch and locally source many of their ingredients. Most of the recipes are from Dolinar’s “nonna” Janet Dolinar, which were passed down through the family for generations. Janet is a second generation Italian-immigrant and her granddaughter Ashley described her as a “typical Italian lady, always asking if you’re hungry.” Ashley put her own spin on her nonna’s recipes for the truck. They food is all organic and there are gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options. Recipes are available for Sungrounded Farm in Terrebonne, Deschutes Gourmet Mushroom, The Village Baker in Bend, and Camas Country Mill in Eugene.

First order should be: Dolinar suggests spaghetti and meatballs. She says the meatballs are her nonna’s recipe. The order comes with a side salad and she recommends a side of garlic bread.

Fun Fact: Dolinar says that these are family recipes from the Parma region of Northern Italy. There is a factory located there where they get their parmigiano reggiano, a type of Italian cheese. She says that they can only get it from Parma. Dolinar says that her “super extended” family in Italy works in this factory.
