Marshalls is set to open in Redmond on Sept. 15.

Marshalls, a popular nationwide discount clothing store, will open its first Central Oregon location in Redmond on September 15.

According to the company, the 21,000-square foot location will employ as many as 60 people and will offer clothing for women, men, juniors and kids. The store will also sell shoes, accessories, home, pet and beauty departments.

It is located at 367 NW Oak Street Lane in the Red Rock commercial development. The store’s hours will be 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. from Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays.

“We’re excited to bring this experience and exceptional values from fashion and beauty to home and more to a new neighborhood,” said Tim Miner, president of Marshalls, in a release.

According to the company, the Redmond store will feature brand name and designer fashion at lower prices, as well as single queue checkout for faster shopping.

A grand opening celebration is set for 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Sept. 15.

In celebration of its new Redmond location, Marshalls will make a $10,000 donation to the Family Access Network Foundation in Central Oregon.

Marshalls currently operates more than 1,100 stores in 48 states, D.C., and Puerto Rico.
