"The Secret Life of Pets" will be shown at Faith, Hope & Charity Vineyards on Sunday.

Every year Faith, Hope & Charity Vineyards hosts several outdoor movie showings for adults and kids to enjoy under the big, starry sky of Central Oregon.

This Sunday, the movie of choice is “Back to the Future,” the classic sci-fic comedy from 1985.

The movie screens from 7-9 p.m., but Jacki Bailey, the office manager at Faith, Hope & Charity Vineyards, suggests people arrive early to snag a good spot on the lawn and order some food and drinks to enjoy during the movie.

Outside food and drinks are not allowed, but there is pizza, wine by the bottle, beer, popcorn and candy available for purchase.

“It’s such a beautiful venue, and to be able to spread out with your kids on the lawn and enjoy a movie under the stars, there’s just something magical about it,” Bailey said.

This is not only a family-friendly event; pets are also encouraged.

“We’re helping to support the Humane Society of Central Oregon, so guests are allowed to bring their dogs with them,” Bailey said. “And we’re hoping that they bring either a bag of dog food to donate, or something from their wish list on their website.”

That wish list can be found at hsco.org.

A donation to the Humane Society of Central Oregon helps aid the adoption and care of their beloved animals. The Humane Society of Central Oregon accepts monetary donations or shelter supplies.

“There will also be a representative from the Humane Society on site to answer any questions and talk about what they’re doing,” Bailey said.

The cost of attendance is $20 for adults, $15 for children 3-13 and free for children under three.
