Redmond’s Community Day of Prayer will commence at 6:15 a.m. on Thursday, May 5, at Redmond Community Church, 237 NW Ninth St.

The public is invited to the event sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Redmond and the Redmond Ministerial Association. A full breakfast catered by Tate and Tate will be served at 6:30 a.m. Cost is $10.

The meal will be followed by presentation of the flag by the Marine ROTC from Redmond High School, then music, worship and prayer for the nation, state, local community and its leaders. The benediction will conclude the event by 8:30 a.m.
