The Redmond Community Concert Association is accepting applications for its annual scholarship program. The award is $2,000 for a high school senior at a high school in Redmond or home schooled student who lives in the Redmond School District who plans to pursue performing arts.
Applicants should submit an application, high school transcript, performance sample and may also include a recommendation letter from a non-related person familiar with the applicant’s abilities. Finalists will also participate in a personal interview. Applications must be submitted by March 8 and are available at redmondcca.org/music-scholarship-application,
The association was founded in 1984 and facilitates concerts in Central Oregon and fosters appreciation for the performing arts through its educational outreach program, according to a press release.
