Sheriff: Four Redmond residents arrested in drug crackdown

Four Redmond residents were among 10 people arrested as part of an Aug. 19 crackdown on residents believed to be associated with drug activity, according to a Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office news release.

The eight-person Community Action Target Team, made up of sheriff’s street crimes detectives and uniformed patrol deputies, focused on vehicles and people leaving the homes, officials said. Information on the locations was received through resident complaints, information from patrol deputies and ongoing street crimes investigations, officials said.

Of the Redmond residents, Angelina R. Teel, 18, was arrested on charges of unlawful methamphetamine and heroin possession; Valerie R. Dickson-Vargas, 20, and Jamie A. Carroll, 41, were arrested on meth possession charges and Briana R. Todd, 33, was arrested on a warrant for alleged identity theft, officials said.
