Terry Russell Anderson

August 28, 1943 – January 20, 2018

Terry was born and raised in Spokane, Washington, and preceded in death by his mother Lillian Anderson, his father Rusty Anderson, and his son, Christopher Anderson.

He is survived by his loving wife of almost 50 years, Christine Jane Anderson (nee Sjostrom), his children; Sara (daughter) and Sy Seifert (son-in-law) and grandson, Titus Seifert of Bend, Oregon, Emily Anderson Stewart (daughter) and Jeffry Stewart (son-in-law) of Bend, Oregon, Jessica Anderson (daughter) of Portland, Oregon, his siblings; Lloyd Anderson (wife Betty) of Spokane, Washington, brother, Richard Anderson (wife Mary Kay) of Spokane, Washington, and sister, Leone Newman (husband Bill) of Arizona.

Terry served honorably in the United States Marine Corps, and went on to become a highly respected PGA Professional and life-member of the PGA of America. He was loved by many for his sharp wit, kindness, and generosity. His leadership and community involvement impacted many lives.

Private services for immediate family were held on January 23, 2018. In lieu of flowers, Terry asked people to donate to the – Kids – Center in the Anderson family name, or any cancer charity of your choice.

A mid-summer gathering to celebrate his life is being planned. Dates and events will be public as soon as possible.
