The decision meant both teams ended 2017 with 1-8 overall records (1-6 in Class 5A Special District 1). The loss ended the Redmond fall team sports campaign with a combined conference record of 1-29-1, including 0-9 against Ridgeview.

Ridgeview jumped out to a 13-0 halftime lead in the gridiron clash behind two Tristyn Brower touchdown runs, including a 35-yard jaunt in the first quarter.

The Panthers tightened the score to 13-8 in the third quarter on Colton Mortenson’s 13-yard touchdown. But the Ravens pulled away in the fourth with touchdown runs by Payton Davis and Conner Benz.
