- The Albertsons grocery store in Redmond is closing mid-October. Albertsons did not respond to an inquiry by the Spokesman about the closure. According to separate news reports, the grocery chain decided not to renew the building’s lease and plans to place the store’s employees at other Central Oregon locations.
